spray research, inc. is currently pursuing a number of intriguing independent and contract studies including:

• evaluation of nozzle array geometries for mist eliminator wash systems

• comparative evaluation of cold-flow models of 1/3 scale FCC feed injectors with a steam/water model

• investigation of effects of intersecting sprays from industrial-scale dual-fluid atomizers on reported dropsize spectra

• the effect of chamber pressure on spray pattern development and drop size performance

• sensitivity of several industrial-scale dual-fluid atomizer designs to variations in fluid viscosity and surface tension
